Aerosticks: The Official Rules

The official rules are.... there ain't no rules.

If you need rules, you are playing the wrong game!

This is about playing catch on a field with sticks and a ring. To play Aerosticks all you need are:

1. An Aerobie (around $10.)

2. Two "repair broom rake handles" (about $5 each at your local hardware store.) Varnished wood ones are best, about four feet long, or however they come, and slightly tapered to a dull point at the business end. It is better to get them without a wood screw on the end. Any random aluminum or plastic poles from your broom closet will work in a pinch, but a decade and a half of Aeriobie experience tells me that a varnished wooden broom handle is really what you want.

3. A partner (Your costs may vary.)

4. A really, really big field (I hope your tax or tuition dollars give you access to one.) A football field will work. Two back-to-back baseball diamonds are sometimes big enough.
